Physician, Scientist and Entrepreneur

About Me

I'm a physician-scientist and entrepreneur with a passion for neuroscience and neurotechnology. My scientific work spans from neurodegenerative research at Harvard to primate neuroimaging research at KU Leuven. After completing additional masters studies at UC Berkeley and UCSF, I founded and led Netic Health, an AI-driven digital physical therapy company. I love combining my clinical and scientific background to innovate in neuroscience, while maintaining a passion for engineering through side projects like building electric skateboards, artificial life simulators and creating devlogs on Youtube.

Project Genecraft

This is an open-source simulator that uses AI to model how living things evolve alongside their environment. It runs 10-100 times faster than similar simulators and is the first to successfully simulate plant evolution using a novel AI method. These advances let us create more detailed ecosystems and observe more complex behaviors.

Netic Health

A Digital Physical Therapy Startup for Athletes. It was founded in 2019, VC backed and our platform was used by hundreds of recovering endurance athletes such as marathon runners and triathletes.

HEKcite:
Single Cell Biosensor

A single cell biosensor that uses electrical membrane oscillations to detect the concentration of any biomolecule in seconds. With a multidisciplinary student team, we built this from idea to proof-of-concept in the span of three months over the summer of 2017.

Monkey Action Observation

Non-conspecific action observation in Rhesus Macaques using fMRI imaging. Another personal passion project of mine where I created a research project from scratch, this time in the neuroimaging space.
